Description :

The Estates Directorate is responsible for the University of Hull's main and surrounding campuses and assuring quality learning, teaching, research and working environments for students, staff and visitors. The Estates Directorate is currently developing an unprecedented programme of exciting projects to deliver as part of 'step change' in facilities investment. The Space Management team in Estates Services assures the effective use of University space at both the strategic planning and operational levels.

As a key member of the Space Management team, the Project Co-ordinator (Space Planning) will be responsible for the management of the operational aspects of the University's space management policy. This will include prioritising and overseeing the space planning of student and staff facilities, project management of migrations, room surveys and analysis, and supporting our CAFM system, Planon.

The role holder will require first-hand experience with the application of accepted space management principles in a large organisation, preferably a UK higher education institute. The ideal candidate will be familiar with space management and project management methodologies, space planning, design standards, workplace and HE learning and teaching environments.

The Project Co-ordinator (Space Planning) will contribute to the development of the University's space management policies and procedures. The role holder will deputise for the Head of Space Planning and assist line managing the space team as required.
