The University of Bath Hospitality department provides catering to students, staff and external customers throughout the academic year and during summer months. We have a vacancy for a Hospitality Supervisor in Café - The Edge. This outlet consists of a Café operation serving freshly made sandwiches, salads, pastries and coffee on a daily basis alongside operating hospitality for The Edge conference business as well. As Hospitality Supervisor you will supervise and work as part of a team to ensure that the customer experience is optimised and high standards are maintained. Duties include training team members, rota management and adhering to financial regulations and health and safety/food hygiene standards. Full role details are included in the job description.

The successful candidate will have experience of supervising and excellent standards of customer service in a customer focused environment. You will have experience in providing team members with operational training. You will have knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations, licensing laws and work well as part of a team. You will need to demonstrate the ability to remain calm under pressure, as it can be extremely busy over peak periods.

This role is 36.5 hours per week on a 5 over 7 rota. The role includes early morning, evening and weekend working.
