About You

Highly motivated, flexible, reliable and punctual, you will have relevant experience within a large scale catering environment with the ability to multi-task. You must be able to demonstrate enthusiasm, excellent communication and organisational skills and work effectively within a team. A Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate (or equivalent), Health and Safety and Catering/Hospitality qualifications would all be advantageous. Your commitment to delivering an outstanding customer experience will ensure that you quickly establish yourself as a key member of our friendly and supportive team.

About the Role

You will deliver an excellent level of customer service to our students, staff and visitors at all times and ensure food displays and general housekeeping are maintained to a high standard.

Catering Services provide a highly professional, customer focussed, income generating operation which aims to provide excellence in catering provision for the University. The Catering Team is responsible for providing customer service excellence in all of our catering outlets including restaurants, bistro and bar facilities. As part of this busy and growing service, you will work independently and as part of a close-knit team to deliver a friendly, customer-focused service. This is a varied role and may involve extra hours during vacation periods.
