Head of Financial Transactions (072817)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, motivated and skilled finance professional to join the University as Head of Financial Transactions.

The post holder will lead the Financial Transactions Function (which comprises 20 FTE across the Student Finance, Finance Service and Finance Support Teams), driving continuous improvement in transaction processes, ensuring excellence of customer service and enforcing robust systems of internal control.

You will have significant relevant managerial and leadership experience and either hold a relevant professional qualification or be able to demonstrate professional development through involvement in a series of progressively more demanding and influential roles. You will be empathetic, a good listener and able to build strong working relationships with both finance and non-finance colleagues. Committed to continuous improvement, you will be experienced in managing projects, working within a team and influencing others to achieve strategic outcomes.
