Do you want to play a key outreach role in recruiting the best students, irrespective of background? Do you have experience of working with young people and an ability to relate to and motivate them?

Educational Engagement (encompassing schools liaison and widening participation) is undergoing a period of transformation to ensure that we provide a service commensurate with being an internationally leading University as well as ensure we meet our obligations to the Office for Fair Access.

You be pivotal in accelerating and implementing the Educational Engagement Strategy and Access Agreement and will work in partnership with staff across the university as well as with local schools/colleges (widening participation and schools liaison outreach), young people and their influencers to promote the Faculties of Arts and PVAC, the University of Leeds and the benefits of higher education.  You will take an active role in all activity and project manage assigned activity.

With an undergraduate degree or relevant work experience, you will also have excellent interpersonal, communication and organisation skills.  Experience of working with schools and colleges and knowledge of the widening participation, schools liaison and safeguarding agendas are also essential.

The role will require some travel within the UK with the occasional overnight stay.
