Applications are invited for the above post based in Glasgow at the MRC/CSO Institute of Hearing Research (Scottish Section). This group is a thriving centre of research into how people use their hearing, how hearing impairment affects them, and how new technologies might help.

The successful candidate's duties will include all aspects of research surveys capturing the communication experiences of people in their daily lives, with an emphasis on developing and conducting longitudinal smartphone-based surveys.

Candidates must have a Masters Degree or equivilent in Psychology, Research Methods or a related subject area, experience of implementing online or smartphone-based surveys, and some experience of patient or client-facing work. Additional desirable criteria include technical software skills, experience of carrying out longitudinal studies, and previous work with the elderly or communicatively disabled.

The post is full-time (36.25 hours/week), and will be offered on a fixed-term contract for a period of two years. The post is open to job share.
