Senior Business Analyst (6039)

Applications are invited for a 3 year fixed term position of Senior Business Analyst within the Business Systems Team at the Hull York Medical School.

Based predominantly at the University of York campus, the Business Systems Team integrate corporate systems and develop bespoke applications that provide staff and students with facilities to gather, manage and utilise a wide range of data in support of its aims and objectives.

Educated to degree level, you will be customer focused with experience in this field of work. You will be organised, resourceful and an exceptional communicator, capable of working closely with colleagues across both partner university sites and the NHS at all levels of seniority.

In this interesting and varied role you will work with key stakeholders to help to identify IT requirements. You will then work closely with developers and others delivering IT services to help to translate those requirements into new products and services. You will be expected to initiate and manage projects. You will understand the software development lifecycle and data integration, particularly in an agile environment.

The post is full-time (37 hours per week) and available immediately. It is anticipated that interviews will be held on Wednesday 18th October 2017.
