Are you a medically qualified Clinical Oncology trainee with an interest in research and advanced radiotherapy technologies? Do you want to further your career in one of the UK’s leading research intensive Universities?

In your role as Clinical Research Fellow you will have a key role in supporting the research activity of the UK Advanced Radiotherapy Technologies Network (ART-NET) group.

A CRUK Network Accelerator Award has established this research network across 5 UK radiotherapy sites including University of Leeds/Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.  The aim of the award is to develop further research and collaboration in implementation of Stereotactic Ablative Body Radiotherapy (SABR), MR Linac and Proton Beam therapy.  ART-NET comprises 7 workstreams, and you will work on two of the streams Leeds are co-leading (MR based radiotherapy planning and Motion Management for SABR).

In this exciting opportunity you will be supported to study for a PhD whilst undertaking the role. You will be closely supervised in all aspects of the research and must be capable of interdisciplinary working across radiotherapy, medical physics and clinical trials.
