Description :

Are you an early career researcher looking for your first challenge? Do you have a background in construction and further education (FE)? Do you want to further your career in one of the UK’s leading research intensive Universities?

Working with a University team involved in a cross-sector partnership in Leeds, you will assist with creating and delivering meetings and workshops, preparing and drafting summary documents and managing communications between project partners.  The project is funded by an Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) Impact Acceleration Account (IAA) and is called “Equipping construction workers to deliver sustainable zero carbon buildings”.

You will hold a Master’s degree and/or PhD (or be close to obtaining) in the social sciences related to sustainability, and have a strong background in further education and employer training needs. You will also have an understanding of construction trades and techniques, a useable knowledge of the city of Leeds and some familiarity of UK planning and industrial strategy policy.
