Administrative Officer (2 posts) – Curriculum & Quality Assurance

This full-time post presents an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated administrator to join our busy Curriculum & Quality Assurance Team in the Faculty of Social, Human and Mathematical Sciences. 

You will work with academic and professional services colleagues as part of an effective team, ensuring effective and professional support for all aspects of the Faculty’s quality assurance and curriculum activities. You will join a friendly and professional team and will act as one of our lead academic unit contacts supporting a range of processes to include committee servicing, development of curriculum information, student evaluation, and programme handbook production.

Excellent communication, organisational and inter-personal skills are required and you must be able to demonstrate that you can work accurately and within relevant policies and procedures.  You must also have experience of taking minutes and be able to summarise meetings accurately. You will be an excellent team player with a proven ability to work proactively, and will be friendly, well-organised and adaptable, taking a proactive approach in reviewing processes and practices.

The ability to contribute to positive team behaviours and work in partnership with colleagues is essential.  This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is interested in a career in Higher Education as it will allow you to learn how many of the University’s policies and procedures operate.
