You will be employed in the Division of Psychology of the Faculty of Social and Behavioural Sciences, Utrecht University, specifically the Department of Clinical Psychology. Your research will be conducted and needs to fit within the context of a research programme that has received an excellent evaluation in the VSNU research review. The programme focuses on anxiety-related disorders, including posttraumatic stress disorder and obsessive-compulsive disorder. Part of the research is experimental and laboratory-based. Another part of the research is conducted in the clinical context. You will also be teaching in the bachelor's degree programme in Psychology and the international master's degree programme in Clinical Psychology.

Tasks The position involves 60% teaching activities and 40% research time. The core tasks include:

independently coordinating and providing various forms of teaching in the field of Clinical Psychology, including the supervision of clinical internships; supervising PhD candidates as well as master's and bachelor's degree students in their research activities; participating in the experimental psychopathology programme; carrying out and supervising research within the programme; publication of research findings in major international scientific journals; contributing to the acquisition of substantial external research funding for the benefit of the research programme.
