An opportunity has become available to join our Maintenance team within the Estates and Facilities Management Department. The post holder will be part of the building team within operational services which is one department within Estates & Facilities Management.  Operational services provide the University with an effective reactive and planned maintenance service.  This department has three sub-divisions which consist of the building team, electrical team and mechanical team.

The post holder will provide support to the E&FM maintenance function. You will tackle ad-hoc works, smaller planned works and reactive work covering building fabric maintenance.  This post will help ensure the Estate is maintained in a safe, efficient functional order and help contribute towards a positive ‘student experience’. A key element for this position, is the ability to be flexible and work effectively both individually and as part of the wider team.

A Minimum of 3 year’s relevant post qualification experience in carpentry/joinery repairs, maintenance and installation works including using associated equipment or if no formal qualifications equivalent relevant experience.
