Description :

The University of Surrey is a global university with a world-class research profile and an enterprising and forward-thinking spirit. The University of Surrey has risen in all major league tables for UK universities, and is proud to have been named University of the Year by The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2016. We’ve been placed fourth in the UK for the second successive year in the Guardian University Guide for 2017, and moved up to eighth place in the Complete University Guide 2016.

Surrey Business School (SBS) is an internationally recognised centre for management research and teaching that is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) and by the Association of MBAs (AMBA). We run undergraduate and postgraduate programmes across a range of management disciplines.

The School is committed to delivering exceptional student experience and we are seeking an exceptional Teaching Fellow in Law to teach Business Law and Employment Law at undergraduate and postgraduate level and to join our People and Organizations Department.  Candidates who have professional qualifications within the area of law would be an advantage, although not essential.

You will have drive and a commitment to excellence in learning and teaching. The successful candidate will possess demonstrable ability to teach at postgraduate and undergraduate levels and evidence of significant knowledge within their field. Experience of learning programme design would be an advantage (the successful candidate may be required to lead undergraduate or postgraduate programmes).

Successful candidates will find the People and Organizations Department to be a positive, supportive, collaborative, and highly productive environment within which to develop their teaching career. All staff in the Department are expected to contribute to teaching and business engagement activity.

Informal enquires should be directed in the first instance to the Deputy Head of the People and Organizations Department, Stephen Dale (s.dale@surrey.ac.uk)
