Description :

Make a difference, every day, to the lives of our students.

About You

You will be highly organised, able to work independently and plan and prioritise effectively. You will have a flexible approach, proven analytical skills and experience of delivering accurate data within agreed deadlines. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential and will enable you to interact effectively with a wide-ranging customer base, ensuring that you quickly establish yourself as a member of our friendly and supportive team.

About the Role

You will assist the Assistant Registrar in maintaining the effective utilisation of teaching space across the campus, with a particular emphasis on directly supporting operations in one of the University’s three faculties (currently the Faculty of Education). The position requires a good understanding of Higher Education, particularly in relation to timetabling, curriculum delivery, space management and institutional organisation and management.

This is a key position within the central student administration team. A student’s timetable is an integral part of any student’s experience and therefore you will play an integral part in how an individual rates their time with us.

Rewards/Benefits

We want you to feel happy when you come to work and proud when you go home.

From the moment you join us you have the opportunity to enhance your skills. We offer a range of specialist development sessions or courses and an award winning staff health & wellbeing programme (HR Excellence Awards 2017). This means as well as opportunities to attend interactive sessions like ‘Presenting with impact’ or ‘Preparing for progression & success’ you are able to have a lunchtime stroll across our beautiful campus, book to get a trim from our onsite hairdresser, your car valeted, or get together with colleagues over free food and drink to watch the latest film on one of our Film Nights and so much more.
