An exciting oppertunity has arisen for a Student Support Advisor to join our Student Services department. This important role will look to improve outcomes for widening participation (WP) students in defined groups.

The post holder will be required to work in support of institutional aims and objectives relating to the support of students who sit within defined widening participation (WP) categories, and specifically those identified as showing differential performance. This will involve working with support team managers in the Student Services Centre, and elsewhere across the University, to understand challenges to progression and retention, identify service usage and create initiatives which support achievement and success.

The post holder will also engage the wider University in awareness raising of WP student support needs through staff/student workshops or activities/events, and ensuring that the activities/vents support the institutional WP Strategy and Access Agreement targets.
