Applications are invited for the above post in the School of Life Sciences to provide an efficient and comprehensive staffing administration service. You will join the existing Staffing Administrator to form a team, covering all aspects of HR Administration such as initiating role approval, dealing with post extensions, contract changes, and interview arrangements. Provision of advice, guidance and training to School staff on HR policies and processes will also be an important part of the role.

Good communication skills are needed as you will build effective working relationships with HR Business Partners, key contacts within the School in the various staff groups, line managers and equivalent posts in other Schools.

In addition, you should be well organised with the ability to prioritise workload to meet deadlines. 

Candidates must hold a HNC/HND in a relevant subject (or equivalent qualifications or substantial relevant experience) and have extensive working knowledge of HR policies and processes as evidenced by involvement in, for example, the recruitment and selection process, contract extensions, dealing with redundancies, annual leave and sickness monitoring.

This is a full-time permanent post. Job share arrangements may be considered for this post.
