Cleaner/Porter (Outside cleaning) (DT5312R)

The provision of an efficient Cleaning/Porter service is pivotal to the smooth running of the University of Bath premises, providing a customer-focused service to the students, staff and visitors alike.

Working as part of the external cleaning team, you will be required to undertake cleaning duties in order to maintain standards of cleanliness within your designated areas. You will also be required to undertake basic office maintenance and unlock/ lock University premises/ rooms as directed. You must have an awareness of Health and Safety issues and a thorough and methodical attitude to work.

Appropriate training, uniform, protective footwear and additional protective clothing will be provided, as required.

A full driving licence is essential for this post (with B1 preferred). The requirement for a driving licence is essential for this outside postition as you will be required to collect waste around campus.

The post is being offered on a full time basis working 36.5 hours per week, to be worked from 5.00am to 12.48pm Monday to Friday.
