Based within the Student Services Directorate, the Careers, Entrepreneurship and Study Abroad Service (hereafter referred to as the Careers Service) plays a lead role across the University in developing confident and employable graduates who are highly regarded by graduate recruiters. The Study Abroad team, which has moved to Careers within the last year, is central to the University’s Strategic Plan and internationalisation and mobility strategies. The team plays an integral role in supporting students to develop their employability through international study opportunities. The team works very closely with a wide range of external partners, not least those partners who receive and send students, and internal stakeholders, including the Academic Partnerships Office, the International Office, relevant Faculty Academics and Professional Services staff who are involved in supporting students to study overseas.

The team is now seeking to recruit a part time Administrator who will play a significant role within this small team. You will get involved in all aspects of Study Abroad activity, including providing administrative and face to face student support. You will have an interest in student support and the employability of students and in the benefits of students going abroad to study for a period during their time at Hull. You will understand the importance of providing excellent customer service to students and be able to communicate effectively with a wide range of partners.
