With a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes and an internationally diverse student body, Lancaster University Management School has enjoyed considerable success in student recruitment over a number of years, with more than 1,800 new students joining the School in October 2018. Capitalising on this success, the School has created a new Recruitment and Conversion team to work in partnership with the wider University in order to best meet its ambitious objectives for growth in an increasingly competitive environment. 

You will play a vital role in leading the Management School’s student recruitment strategy, managing and developing a new team dedicated to achieving the School’s ambitious objectives in partnership with the wider University. The School’s 2025 strategy is focused on building further on its status as a world-class management school and this key position feeds into this through developing sector-leading recruitment and conversion strategies, designed to attract the best students and increase market share. 

You will be responsible for leading student recruitment and conversion from all markets globally and for both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, with the objective of maximising student recruitment, meeting ambitious targets, optimising customer experience and enhancing School and University-led student recruitment activities. 

With a strong understanding of the HE sector, a passion for customer service and a proven track record of developing and delivering a sales or recruitment strategy, this position is ideally suited to an experienced and ambitious professional seeking to develop your career in a fast-moving, dynamic and innovative organisation within a highly competitive global sector.
