The University of Bath houses over 4000 students throughout the academic year and during the summer month’s external organisations use our accommodation services for conferences, summer camps and away days. We also offer a 30 room hotel style accommodation service that is available all year round.

The Accommodation Security Team help to ensure that our students and other visitors are safe and our initiatives have led to low campus crime levels and national safe environment recognition.

We have a vacancy for an Accommodation Support Assistant to work 20 hours per week (4 shifts per week) to provide minor maintenance support, assist on busy reception desks, and be part of our Accommodation Security team to assist with lock outs and other safety issues being required to respond to such matters quickly and efficiently.

The hours of work for both contracts are 18:00hrs to 23:59hrs and will include weekend work, however, the postholder is expected to show a degree of flexibility in the busy times.

Delivering excellent customer service is at the heart of everything we do, therefore we are seeking highly reliable people with excellent customer service skills, to handle a multitude of tasks relating to the comfort and safety of students and other guests staying in university accommodation.

A driving licence is essential as the role will be based in the University of Bath student accommodation sites located on Campus and in the City of Bath.
