Working with committed and talented staff as part of our busy Student Recruitment and Outreach division within Marketing and Communications, you will provide support for the organisation and delivery of the recruitment and outreach activities and projects that we deliver on campus, in Sussex and across the UK.  

You will provide a full range of professional administrative services to support the Head of Division, managers and staff of the Widening Participation Outreach, Student Recruitment and Enquiries teams. You will support the teams by managing diaries, organising and minuting meetings for senior staff, producing reports, monitoring budgets and arranging visits, travel and accommodation. You will also be required to keep up to date with relevant university policy.

Experience of implementing effective office procedures is essential, and you must possess efficient organisational skills and be fluent in using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.  You will be able to use websites to access information, be a clear and persuasive communicator, and be able to work as part of a team. Familiarity with the higher education sector, and social media used in a professional context, would be desirable.

Job sharers welcome.  The role requires regular travel to other university sites and some weekend and evening working.
