The University of Nottingham offers a sector-leading range of sporting facilities including the new David Ross Sports Village opened in October 2016. The £40 million sports village provides a premier training and competition venue for elite athletes, fitness and social sport supporting us to deliver an outstanding student sporting experience combined with a top quality education. Within the sports village is the High Performance Zone, an elite training centre designed specifically for the delivery of outstanding Strength and Conditioning services to university teams, scholarship athletes and external partners.

We're seeking a UKSCA accredited Strength and Conditioning Coach to join our coaching team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in providing Strength and Conditioning coaching to a broad range of sports, ideally in the HE sector. With a focus on delivering high quality Strength and Conditioning support to a broad range of sports and athletes, they will play a key role in growing and enhancing the Strength and Conditioning service and supporting the wider departmental objectives of growing a culture of performance. We're also seeking someone with a strong innovative history to continually push for excellence in our Strength and Conditioning service.

The role holder will be able to successfully engage and communicate with several stakeholders to impact performance. They will be highly motivated and dynamic to support the implementation of the University of Nottingham Sport performance strategy.

In return, we aim to give you support to nurture your talent and reach your career goals in a friendly and professional environment. We offer a competitive salary package including a generous holiday allowance and as a University employee, you'll also enjoy access to the state-of-the-art sports facilities at David Ross Sports Village as well as our other campuses.

Working in performance sport will require you to work flexible hours in line with athletes training schedules. This may include early morning, evening and weekend work for periods of the year. This is a full time, permanent position at 36.25 hours per week.
