The University's Graduate School provides a wide range of opportunities to support the University's postgraduate student population.We are seeking someone with excellent organisational and data handling skills and lots of enthusiasm to take on the role of BBSRC Doctoral Training Partnership Officer.

The University of Nottingham, in collaboration with Rothamsted Research has been awarded funding for studentships through the Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC) Doctoral Training Partnership (DTP). The DTP recruits ~50 students per year and the main responsibilities to each incoming cohort involve coordinating: six months of elective lab rotations, an integrated research and generic skills training programme, an annual training week (Spring School), and a Professional Internships for PhD Students (PIPS) placements programme. 

We are seeking to recruit an experienced and highly motivated administrator to be responsible for coordinating and supporting the efficient administration of the BBSRC Doctoral Training Partnership activities. This will also involve being the initial point of contact for enquiries from students, staff and external stakeholders. In this role you will work closely with the Doctoral Training Partnership Manager to support delivery of the key aspects of the Doctoral Training programme. 

This position is based on a full time, permanent with underlying funding contract until 31st July 2022. Applications for job share will also be accepted.
