The University of Bath’s School of Management is ranked among the top UK business schools, with a renowned reputation for business education and international research. 

We wish to appoint a Programme Officer to work as part of a team in the School’s MSc Office, taking responsibility for aspects of administrative support for the MSc suite of programmes.  The duties of this busy and varied role will include: administrative support to enhance the student learning experience, record maintenance and admissions processing. Working closely with the MSc Programmes Manager, you will work on projects taking responsibility for managing specific projects.

A team-player but also able to work independently, you will be an experienced administrator, familiar with standard IT systems and databases, and possessing excellent organisational and inter-personal skills. 

You must have significant administrative experience, ideally gained in a higher education environment, and have excellent organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills. You will have the ability to multi-task and prioritise and you will also have excellent communication skills with the ability to deal with students, faculty and stakeholders, internal and external, with ease. The ability to identify and implement practical solutions to complex administrative issues is also essential to the role. 

Experience of working in a multi-cultural environment with cultural sensitivity and awareness would be an advantage. In addition you will be required to work occasional evenings and weekends.
