Student Support & Guidance Tutor (SS5208-18-016)

We are currently seeking a dedicated professional to join our team of Student Support and Guidance Tutors (SSGTs). The successful candidate will work with students in the School of Humanities based in the Pavilion Parade building at our Grand Parade Campus. SSGTs enhance student engagement and retention by providing non-judgmental, 1 on 1 help and support on a range of issues. 

As well as sign posting to a range of centralised services, you will be comfortable providing emotional support to students. You will be responsible for promoting your service to staff and students, including representing the service during induction week and be a key link between the school and Student Services department. As an SSGT you will be expected to log student enquiries and interactions on the SID online database and produce year-end reports so familiarity with IT is essential.
