IT Services makes a valuable contribution to the University,supporting innovation and efficiency in learning, teaching, research andadministration through the delivery of sustainable IT services that enable usto put students at the heart of everything we do. 

As the IS Technical Services Manager, you will be responsible for the management of site-based IT support teams, providing a consistent desktop and AV support service across all University sites. You will also be responsible for the operation of the IT Service Desk, ensuring that effective processes are in place for incident management, access management and request fulfilment and making sure that operational reporting is in place to meet the needs of the department and our customers. You will lead on the planning, development and management of major operations; specifically the provision of desktop IT, Media and Audio Visual support services on all University campuses.

As the successful candidate, you will have substantial experience of leading an  IT support function in a complex, multi-sited organisation as well as experience of driving forward change to deliver a consistent and high quality IT support service. You will have a strong customer service ethos and will work closely with customers to ensure that IT service smeet their needs.
