The University of West London is a leading modern university specialising in the education and development of exceptional creative, business and service professionals.

Community Development is a new course within our Education and Society Field which includes Social Work and Education. We are a vibrant community which prides itself on the high level of student support that encourages students to succeed.

We are currently seeking a senior lecturer to join the School of Human and Social Science. We are seeking applications from highly motivated candidates who will contribute across the Education and Society Field, but in particular who will lead the new BA (Hons) Community Development course.

This is an exciting opportunity for suitably qualified candidates. The role holder must have relevant work and/or teaching experience in Community Development. Additionally they should be able to work flexibly, work as part of a team and be prepared to support students in reaching their full potential. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to course and curriculum development.  The post holder will be expected to be research active and to contribute to the research, scholarly, and enterprise output of the School.
