Student Services are seeking to appoint a ResLife Officer to contribute to the delivery and enhancement of our Residence Life initiative. Student Services aims to provide high quality advice, guidance and support to all our students. Comprising of a variety of areas, the service places student achievement, success and retention at the core of its business and takes a proactive approach to student support. 

Working as part of the wider student wellbeing, learning and welfare support service area, the post holder will be responsible for ensuring an excellent student experience for those students living within student accommodation. The planning, organisation and delivery of student facing activities in addition to staff facing training, development and support are key features of the role. Owing to the nature of the role and the activities associated with it, the post-holder will also be required to provide an initial point of contact and signpost students who may require / benefit from accessing support services within the university. 

The post holder will work closely with the ResLife team, Campus and Accommodation Services (CaAS), Induction and Transition Team and our Health & Wellbeing Team and will be expected to develop and maintain good working relationships with key internal and external partners in the delivery of a coherent package of activities and engagement opportunities for students. The post holder will be required to contribute to the planning and development of Residence Life at the University of Hull and the production of materials and resources related to the area. The post holder will be required to develop partnerships with other services, both internal and external to the organisation, to develop and deliver initiatives to maximise the success of the Residence Life programme.
