The post-holder will take responsibility for all aspects of the Admissions Strategy, management of academic and administrative staff involved in the Admissions process, including Widening Participation. The School of Medicine has a significant initiative in Widening Participation of promoting Medicine as a career choice to applicants from currently under-doctored areas of England.

To join us at this exciting time, you’ll be forward-looking with a ‘can do’ attitude and ambition to achieve.  You will have excellent communication and negotiating skills, and the ability to create a positive image of the School and Programme by meeting the needs of applicants, pre-University education providers, careers advisers, academic, NHS colleagues, the University and other stakeholders, in relation to admissions activities.

Please note, initial offers will be made on a conditional basis and will be dependent on the allocation of student places by HEFCE.
