Your aptitude to manipulate complex databases and commitment to a high level of customer service will be welcomed by our Systems Team, where you will provide support for developments in the timetabling system (CMIS) and its associated interfaces. In this fixed term role, you will play an active part in the implementation of personal student timetables across the University. This will include testing new and existing functionality, recording testing procedures and processes, providing training and documentation and reporting/escalating issues to the relevant parties as directed by the Estate and Facilities Systems Manager.

You will become an expert user of CMIS and may also assist with providing the help desk service for CMIS in order to maintain a prompt and efficient help desk service. The ability to plan and organise workloads is essential, as are analytical and problem solving skills and the ability to explain complex processes to a wide audience.

The post is fixed term for 12 months to develop functionality for the CMIS timetabling system. Job sharers are welcome.
