The Faculty of Arts, Cultures and Education is fundamentally multi-disciplinary in composition. It comprises three Schools: the School of Arts; the School of Education 

and Social Sciences; and the School of Histories, Languages and Cultures.  The Faculty Business Manager is responsible for the overall operation of the Faculty and for the provision of senior level advice on policy, procedure and practice. The post is integral to the Faculty achieving its aspirations, goals and objectives, aligning our work with the the main themes underpinning the University’s Strategic Plan – excellence, empowerment and sustainability.  This is a senior management role and as such reports to the Registrar as the professional head of all student administration services and to the Dean for day to day line management.

With a keen focus on performance and pursuing excellence in all that we do, we are looking for a strong leader with proven professional services experience including commercial awareness, financial acumen and customer service. The post holder must work centrally and locally at a Faculty level, champion and promote change, cross institution engagement and ensure that the Faculty is fully aligned to University initiatives.
