Customer Service Assistant - The Venue (PERM-84-2018)

We provide food and beverage services across the Bishop Grosseteste campus through our retail outlets Curiositea, Refectory and Bar BG. We also run The Venue Cinema and Longdales House; an eighteen-bedroom guesthouse, and we operate a commercial conferencing business that makes full use of our unique on site facilities. To support our continued development we are looking to recruit a Customer Service Assistant into the Venue team. We are looking for candidates who will work as part of the team to achieve sales targets through a focus on selling and delivery of excellent service to our guests and who will add value to the efficient and profitable running of our business. Successful candidates will be required to support us in other areas of our business at peak trading times throughout the year. As part of the role you will issue tickets, work within the bar area, replenish stock and help with our social media output. You will also help set up equipment for screenings and will help to keep the cinema clean and tidy so that our customers have the best possible experience. Due to the nature of this role, we cannot offer employment to persons under the age of 18. Reporting to the Team manager (Commercial), working hours will include evening and weekends on a regular basis, usually with Mondays and Tuesdays as days off. Previous customer service experience would be beneficial but is not essential, as we will give full training to the successful candidate.
