We want to recruit students who are really enthusiastic towards working with some of today’s leading researchers within engineering, these researchers are continuously aspiring to be the best in their field.

Apply now

To apply for this scholarship you must: be classed as an overseas student for fee purposes, already hold an offer to start a full-time PhD research degree programme at our Nottingham campus with a start date that falls between 01 October 2018 to 01 February 2019 and you must hold a first class undergraduate degree or an MSc with distinction in a relevant subject. We will consider work experience, published journal papers and other esteem indicators such as prizes.

It is crucial that you clearly state on your scholarship application the specific topic which you are interested in researching. For example, applications which broadly state ‘civil engineering’ or ‘mechanical engineering’ rarely get supported by our academics.
