Working across all University sites you will support the Crime Prevention Manager providing a point of contact for the Police and University stakeholders. You will analyse crime patterns and will provide a proactive response to target any trends that are identified. Candidates will also be required to prepare and submit accurate reports to Senior Security Management and will attend organised events, giving talks and providing crime prevention information and advice to staff and students. Other duties include supporting the Student Welfare teams with matters relating to students both on and off University Campuses.

Candidates should have supervisory experience gained while working in a similar security related or Customer Service related role and environment, have proven leadership and motivational skills, be an excellent communicator and have the ability to analyse complex situations. You should also have experience of the technology used in security operations and have the ability to produce detailed written reports. Due to the frequency with which this post will drive between University sites a full current driving licence is also essential for this role (unless disability precludes this)

Hours of work are 36.25 per week, worked 5 days out of 7 to be arranged on an extended shift pattern. Further information on the shift pattern is attached to this advert.
