The post will be responsible to provide financial and accountancy support for the department’s research and enterprise projects.  Also to develop, implement and maintain project financial management systems which meet internal University requirements and external requirements of funding bodies and project partners. To be considered for the role you will be qualified to AAT level or able to demonstrate a combination of qualifications, skills and relevant experience at an equivalent level. The ability to communicate financial information to non-finance managers and work to meet strict deadlines while maintaining quality of service is essential.  The ideal candidate will be an advanced excel user and will be competent in using excel to support the development of accurate and useful management information. A knowledge of higher education and an up to date knowledge of the requirements of external grant funders i.e. European funding and research councils etc. is essential and a knowledge of Sharepoint is desirable.
