The Department of Marketing is seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Marketing Management. You should have a PhD in Marketing or cognate area, a commitment to specialist teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, as well as a strong publication profile. A track record or potential to attract research funding and doctoral students would be a distinct advantage. You will join an international research team whose interests focus on examining and understanding the management of internal and external organisational marketing activities in global markets and contexts.

The Department of Marketing is ranked as one of the top marketing departments in the UK, and is part of Lancaster University Management School (LUMS). LUMS has achieved an international reputation as an exceptional research-led management school, and has made a significant contribution to management education since its establishment over 50 years ago. LUMS is one of the few management schools whose programmes are accredited by all three international accreditation bodies (AMBA, EQUIS and AACSB). The School’s international research reputation has underpinned the successful recruitment of world-class faculty, and outstanding students from all over the world are attracted to the University’s undergraduate, postgraduate and post-experience programmes. The university’s campus is located on the outskirts of the historic market town of Lancaster, which is also easily accessible from Manchester. The Lake District is at the University’s doorstep.
