Description :

The purpose of the role will be to have responsibility for the provision of technical, experimental and specialist support for research activity in the Division of Clinical Neuroscience (DCN). A minimum of a HNC or equivalent, and experience in a technical and/or experimental expertise in cell biology and immunology is essential. You should have the ability to be able to guide students and staff and have an understanding of applying scientific, technical and experimental theory. The ideal candidate should have worked under the Human Tissue Act, and ideally, Home Office regulations. Good planning skills with proven analytical and problem solving skills are required. Experience of running high performance laboratories would also be desirable. 

The role will be split across a number of Sections in DCN and the role holder will be expected to divide their time appropriately between sites.

This is a full-time permanent post. Job share arrangements may be considered for this post.
