About You

Flexible and reliable, with excellent customer service skills, you will use your initiative to resolve problems and maintain an active contribution to the team effort. Experience of working in a customer-focused environment is essential, as is the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy. You must be able to organise and prioritise work effectively, and work independently as well as part of a team.

About the Role 

You will join us as we prepare to move to a purpose built £26m library at the heart of our Ormskirk Campus. As part of this move you will support us in providing the Edge Hill community with a popular 24/7 destination for students, academics and researchers, where welcoming, knowledgeable, professional staff are on hand to support student life, research, learning and career development.

You will provide support for stock circulation and assist in the safe operation of the building to agreed service standards. Duties include supporting customers and assisting with enquiries, stock circulation and maintenance including tidying of library stock, shelf picking and stock moves.
