Category: Management | Faculty/Division: Research, Innovation and Enterprise | School: Enterprise and Employability | Department: Enterprise and Employability | Location: Multiple Campuses | Post Type: Full Time | Closing Date: 05 Apr 2018 | The Research, Innovation and Enterprise team has recently undergone an organisation re-design to align its structure with its strategy.   Following a successful application for external funding via the European Social Fund, and the successful establishment of the Higher Level Skills Match (HLSM) project two new roles have been created within the team and applications are welcome from across the University. The HLSM Partnership is made up of a number of local universities and external partners and is designed to help SME’s in the GBSLEP area as well as driving improved student and graduate employability. As the linked Graduate Talent Consultant on the HLSM project, you will lead engagement with employers and develop effective relationships to drive graduate level employment outcomes. Your work will increase and enhance employer engagement through the curriculum in respect of placements, live briefs and mentoring and drive employer led event activity which actively connects graduates with employment outcomes. You will provide account management support to businesses to explain the structure and operation of the various schemes, initiatives and graduate talent pipelines available across the University to source more graduate opportunities in the UK for BCU graduates via HLSM. We are seeking highly motivated professionals with extensive and recent experience of working in Higher Education and demonstrable experience of working with employers and external partners, with experience of working directly with SME’s. The role will involve using a range of IT packages, software and social media. You will also possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report writing and presentation skills.
