The University of West London is a leading modern university specialising in the education and development of exceptional creative, business and service professionals.

The ExPERT Academy is a newly formed, research-informed department responsible for the development of academic practice and curriculum design. This role will join a team of highly digitally literate academic and professional colleagues who work across the institution promoting excellence both in teaching and pedagogic research.

As part of a close-knit team, the post holder, will be responsible for designing and delivering programmes in Higher Education Research and Practice (both face to face and online), a programme for postgraduates who teach and will contribute to the accredited professional recognition framework. They will make a major contribution to the University Pedagogic Research and Scholarship Community at UWL and will be a champion for the use of technology in learning and teaching.

The post holder is expected to demonstrate a high proficiency with a range of relevant learning technologies, be well versed in the UK Professional Standards framework and the Quality code. They will have excellent skills in curriculum design and well-developed research skills. The post holder will also be experienced in supporting colleagues to enhance their teaching activities in line with current outstanding practices as evidenced in the literature.
