Student Services is currently in a period of transition and growth so it is an exciting time to be joining the team.

A new opportunity has arisen for a Student Liaison Assistant to work on the front desk at our Reading Hub to support our busy Student Services department based at Ealing.  The main purpose of this role is to offer a consistent and high quality first point of contact for our students and staff, and support the wider student services team.  Much of the day to day work will be handling enquiries and administration, both via the email, telephone or assisting students face to face, so an understanding of the importance of customer care is essential.

Applicants must have excellent I.T. skills and the ability to communicate with a wide range of people and be able to respect a high level of confidentiality within the department. Experience of working or studying in Higher Education Further Education is essential.

This is a part-time appointment, working 21 hours per week Monday to Friday requiring a flexible approach to working hours to support the students throughout the year.

Please be advised that it is expected that appointment within a grade will normally be at the minimum point.
