Head of HR Partnering & Services (HR025)

The University has a diverse workforce of circa 800 staff with two campuses in Ealing and Brentford. 

A new Head of HR Partnering and Services is sought to lead two teams within the HR department, managing 5 direct reports. Reporting to the Director of Human Resources and Organisational Development, this is a newly formed role with a wide and essential remit to provide a proactive business engagement service, providing HR partnering as well as overseeing the running of front line operational services.

The role will provide direction and guidance in all people management, including: overseeing the management of employment lifecycle activities, recruitment and selection, organisational design, performance management, employee relations, workforce planning, change management, policy development and implementation.

The ideal candidate will be a proven HR technical specialist with a real aptitude for people management and who has the energy and enthusiasm to take team performance to the next level. We are looking for candidates with proven competence in influencing others and who are keen to make a difference.

Candidates should be degree qualified and hold a full CIPD accreditation (or equivalent). Although education sector experience is not an essential prerequisite, candidates should be committed to the values of higher education.

The selection process will be a minimum two stages, with the first stage starting week commencing Monday 14th May 2018.
