Bring your passion for food to work and thrive within our innovative food outlets whilst enhancing the student experience.  In this busy, fast-paced role, you will produce food for our breakfast Eat In service and assist the chef team with other food services during the day.  

To succeed in the role you will need the ability to ensure that food is prepared to a consistently high standard.  Also essential is an understanding of current food hygiene and health and safety legislation related to large scale food production and a qualification to City and Guilds 706/1 or equivalent.  On joining this exciting team you will enjoy the benefits of generous holiday allowance, entry into the Local Government Pension Scheme (which the university contributes 17% of your salary into) and access to on-site gyms, nurseries and libraries.  

This full-time vacancy is based at our Falmer site and hours of attendance are 7.00am – 3.00pm (Mon –Thurs) and 7.00am – 2.30pm (Fri).
