This newly created role will lead the provision of a service that locates university planning within the sector policy and planning landscape, ensuring that university planning and performance is externally benchmarked and challenged.
Whilst providing university-wide support, the work of the Department will in particular have a significant input to appropriate Recruitment and Admissions governance groups, to the Portfolio Planning Committee of the University and, both directly and through PPC, to the Academic Board and Board of Governors.
The Planning and Performance and the Evaluation and Policy Departments will together provide the information, evidence, benchmarking and evaluation required to support the University Executive Board’s decision making on institution-wide strategy and planning.
