The University of Bath Accommodation department is expanding. Our brand new building, Polden, will be home to over 290 postgraduate students. The building will be state of the art and as well as student bedrooms and kitchens will contain social spaces, offices and a café. 

As a Deputy Accommodation Operations Team Leader, you will be responsible for effectively coordinating and overseeing the housekeeping and cleaning operation for student, staff and public areas.  Your role will be to ensure that the building meets our exceptional standards of cleanliness.

We are committed to ensuring our colleagues feel valued, motivated and developed. You will therefore need demonstrable experience of motivating, developing and supervising teams. No two days are ever the same so a ‘can-do’ attitude and the ability to problem solve are essential. An awareness of health and safety is essential as is proficiency in using Microsoft Word and Excel.

The role requires you to work 5 days out of 7. Therefore, some weekend working is expected. An element of flexibility is required to start at 7am or 8am on occasion.
