We are currently seeking computing lecturers in three specialisms who can contribute to the development and delivery of our courses using a range of teaching methods and ways of supporting student learning. 

A PhD or extensive professional experience is essential as well as the potential to develop quality research and enterprise activity, actively contributing to our computing research centre. The ideal candidates will therefore be capable of delivering a high quality student experience and have a strong commitment to advancing existing research in the School. The specialism for this post is: software engineering and you will contribute to the development and delivery of our modules in this area. The ability to make a significant contribution to our growing work in cyber security would be welcome.

We are a large and successful school that is committed to delivering high quality teaching, internationally excellent research and working with industry. The School has a strong track record of securing grants from research councils, the European Union, government-backed bodies like Innovate UK and industry and we have centres of research excellence in Computing and Engineering. We offer a range of postgraduate and undergraduate courses across a variety of subject disciplines: computing, information security, mathematical sciences, data analytics and mechanical, electrical and electronic engineering.
