As CRM Manager you will ‘own’ the CRM system that we use to support our student recruitment and conversion activities. Our CRM system has been live for just over two years. We use a customised version of Microsoft Dynamics 365, which has integrations with third party systems.

This role, based in the central Marketing and Communications team, will manage all aspects of our student recruitment and marketing CRM including: system development, functionality, processes and protocols. You will liaise regularly across campus with stakeholders and users – including senior managers – where you will provide expertise and insight to your colleagues and also make sure the system is providing them with what they need in order to communicate effectively with prospective students.

It is a time of growth for the student recruitment and marketing CRM at Bath. The role of CRM Data Officer has recently been approved – this role will report to you. The number of recruitment and marketing projects where CRM plays a central role is also increasing. You will lead all future development, whether this is for Dynamics or one of our other third party systems. 

You will have significant experience in CRM. You will also have experience of negotiating and influencing across an organisation, making sure stakeholders understand your area of work and how it can help them. You will have responsibilities relating to outbound marketing communications including management of the pre-applicant communication plans and coordination of the applicant communications plans from across the institution. This responsibility includes managing our compliance with GDPR for these areas of work.

A core internal relationship you will manage is with our Computing Services team who are responsible for technical system support. You will become the primary user in the business, and will be responsible for making sure the support team have all the information available so they can understand the broader business implications of their work on the student recruitment and marketing CRM.

As CRM Manager you will also be responsible for internal communication related to the system. This could be system development and new user training, or managing communications surrounding system errors and periods of unavailability.
