The ASK Student Enquiry Service is a key part of the University’s commitment to an excellent student experience and provides a wide range of advice and assistance for students. The ASK Service launched in July 2015 and has already dealt with over seventy five thousand student enquiries. The ASK Service brings together the student enquiry and information services delivered across the University’s main campuses and other city Centre buildings.  The aim of the service is to provide consistent, correct information to students covering a wide range of queries.  The ASK Service resolves a high proportion of queries at the first point of contact.  This is a strategically important development for the University and the service is seen as critical to the delivery of a high quality student experience. The service is physically located at the City Centre Campus and City South Campus. Students can also access the service through an online helpdesk (iAsk), and via telephone. The successful candidate would be responsible for managing the ASK Advisors and ASK Student Associates in providing a customer-focused front line enquiry service for student, the ASK Team leaders are responsible for the day-today running of the service.
