Description :

The University of Hull is looking to recruit three Collaborative Outreach Graduate Interns to support the delivery of the National Collaborative Outreach Programme (NCOP) for the collaborative consortium, the University of Hull Federation of Regional Colleges for Engagement (FORCE). NCOP aims to rapidly increase the progression rates of young people entering higher education in areas where current progression is low and lower than expected given Key Stage 4 attainment levels.

You will support the National Collaborative Outreach Programme by assisting with the delivery of outreach activities to young people in schools and colleges. It will be your role to encourage and support young people to consider their progression to higher education and you will be involved in the delivery of a broad range of activities to do this. This could include giving talks/presentations to groups of young people about higher education as well as working with smaller groups in workshop sessions.

The National Collaborative Outreach Programme funding is confirmed until 31st July 2019, however, it is intended that it will continue if reasonable progress is made towards national goals.

This post requires a criminal records check through the Disclosure and Barring Service.
