Description :

The University of Hull is looking to recruit a part time Collaborative Outreach Evaluation Coordinator to support the National Collaborative Outreach Programme (NCOP) for the collaborative consortium, the University of Hull Federation of Regional Colleges for Engagement (FORCE). NCOP aims to rapidly increase the progression rates of young people entering higher education in areas where current progression is low and lower than expected given Key Stage 4 attainment levels.

The central NCOP team are delivering activities to young people to encourage and support them to progress to higher education. Your role would be to coordinate an evaluation framework in order to measure the impact of those activities. NCOP is a highly target driven programme, therefore it is vital that progress towards targets and milestones is monitored. It will be part of your role to use a range of data and information to monitor and track progress, producing reports and presenting your findings to colleagues in the consortium. You will therefore need to be confident using a variety of data and both quantitative and qualitative evaluation techniques.

This post is part-time (0.6 FTE). You will be working alongside another part-time Evaluation Coordinator and you will need to work together to deliver an evaluation framework and conduct analysis. There is some flexibility with the distribution of hours, however it is our current suggestion that the post-holder would work three days per week, to include Tuesdays and Thursdays.

The National Collaborative Outreach Programme funding is confirmed until 31st July 2019, however, it is intended that it will continue for a further two years if reasonable progress is made towards national goals.

This post requires a criminal records check through the Disclosure and Barring Service.
